Jet2.com has welcomed nine pilot apprentices to its programme. The latest group of apprentices will spend 12 months learning all about the company and Jet2holidays, starting with cabin crew training.

Once their 12 month training programme is complete, participants will have an in-depth understanding into various areas of the business.

At that point the pilot apprentices can then commence a programme of flight training before being given their wings and certificates.

Phil Ward, managing director, Jet2.com, said, "We are delighted to welcome the latest wave of pilot apprentices to our growing Jet2.com team.

They have been through a competitive process to make it onto the programme and we are looking forward to watching them develop their skills and knowledge as they grow with us."
