On the basis of the results of the Cyprus Passenger Survey, revenue from tourism reached EUR52,4 million in February compared to EUR52,7 million in the corresponding month of 2018, recording a decrease of 0,6 percent.

For the period of January – February revenue from tourism is estimated at EUR92,0 million compared to EURO91,1 million in the corresponding period of 2018, recording an increase of one percent.

The expenditure per person for February reached EUR496,81 compared to EUR519,43 in the corresponding month of 2018, recording a decrease of 4,4 percent.

The expenditure per person/per day for February compared to February 2018 recorded an increase of 4,9 percent (from EUR57,08 to EUR59,86). A decrease of 8,8 percent was recorded in the average length of stay, from 9,1 days in February 2018 to 8,3 days in February this year.

The expenditure per person for the period of January – February reached EUR490,89 compared to EUR513,89 in the corresponding period of 2018, recording a decrease of 4,5 percent.

The expenditure per person/per day for the period of January – February compared to the period of January – February 2018 recorded an increase of 1,1 percent (from EUR56,47 to EUR57,08).
