Aeroflot Group Announces Operating Results for June

Aeroflot PJSC recently announced operating results for Aeroflot Group (the group) and Aeroflot – Russian Airlines (the company) for June and six months of this year.

For the first half of this year, Aeroflot Group carried 12,9 million passengers, 54,2 percent down year-on-year. Aeroflot airline carried 7,8 million passengers, a year-on-year decrease of 56.1 percent.

Group and company RPKs decreased by 55,1 percent and 56,7 percent year-on-year, respectively. ASKs decrease by 47,8 percent year-on-year for the group and company.

The passenger load factor decreased by 11,1 per person year-on-year to 68,2 percent for Aeroflot Group and decreased by 13,2 per person. to 64,1 percent for Aeroflot airline.

In June of this year, Aeroflot Group carried 1,2 million passengers, a year-on-year decrease of 79,1 percent. Aeroflot airline carried 5230 thousand passengers, a year-on-year decrease of 84,2 percent.

Group and company RPKs were down 83,6 percent and 87,5 percent year-on-year, respectively. ASKs decrease by 77,5 percent for Aeroflot Group and by 81,8 percent for Aeroflot airline.

Aeroflot Group’s passenger load factor was 61,5 percent, representing a 22,6 percentage point decrease versus the same period a year earlier. The passenger load factor at Aeroflot – Russian Airlines decreased by 25,3 percentage points year-on-year to 56,4 percent.
