Passenger Traffic of Kyiv Airport Grew in H1

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport in Ukraine, according to the results of work in January-June (H1), served 1,148 million passengers, which is 66 percent more than in the same period of 2017.

The number of passengers, served on international flights amounted to 1.108 million, on domestic flights - 41 thousand passengers. In total for half a year 13,506 flights for arrival and departure were carried out, which is 39 percent more than in the same period of 2017. Among them were 11 308 international flights and 2198 domestic ones.

The most popular international destinations since the beginning of the year are Minsk (Belarus), Dubai (UAE), Ankara (Turkey), Antalya (Turkey), Warsaw (Poland), Rome (Italy), Budapest (Hungary). The most popular domestic routes are Odessa, Zaporizhia, and Lviv.
