The certification went to 42 Steigenberger Hotels, 10 IntercityHotels and the Jaz Amsterdam.
Several restaurants operating under the Deutsche Hospitality umbrella brand have, meanwhile, also been officially rated as excellent by TripAdvisor.
The Certificate of Excellence is awarded on the basis of feedback provided by travellers on the TripAdvisor Portal.
The responses posted indicated that guests felt very much at home when staying at a Steigenberger or IntercityHotel in Germany and also particularly enjoyed their experiences in Egypt, Belgium, the Netherlands, Oman, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and Tunisia.
